About Me

Tom Broadbent is a photographer working on major projects covering identity and belonging, his most recent project, At Home With The Furries, a series looking at the subculture of furries in Britain has just been published as a book by Stay Free Publishing. A labour of love, this book is an homage to the furry community, it consists of over 30 photographs of furries at home as well as containing an illustrated sketchbook, texts and essays by Uncle Kage, chairman of Anthrocon: one of the world's largest furry conventions and Laura Noble; curator, writer and director of L A Noble Gallery.

Syrrus, a fox and Lupestripe, a wolf having a barbecue at home in Leeds was exhibited at The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition this year and the print edition of five prints sold out.

Smirnoff, the husky wolf features in 1001 Photographs You Must See Before You Die published September 2017.

Fangorn, the Jedi tiger from At Home With The Furries won first prize in the Pixelrights Portrait Photography Competition in December 2016.
